I have been in the service industry since I was 19 years old. I managed restaurants for close to 20 years. And, not just any restaurants and not as an assistant manager. I managed 2-3 million dollar restaurants as a General Manager. I was responsible for 150 employees at any one time. I also managed 4-5 assistant managers, as well. I learned about service and quality especially during my time with Red Lobster. They taught me that the “service was in the details”. If you took care of all the little things, the big things would ultimately take care of themselves.
Throughout the years, I have studied great leaders in business such as Zig Ziglar, John Maxwell, Wayne Dyer, Stephen Covey, Tom Peters just to name a few. My basic philosophy is that “I am not in the carpet cleaning business serving people…I am the PEOPLE business cleaning carpets”.
I believe in building relationships whether it is in my personal life or my professional life. It is much harder to establish relationships these days with social media driving people in all different directions. Zig Ziglar once said, “You can have everything in life that you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want”.
I DO NOT base my company on having the lowest price. I DO NOT simply believe in the “low price” concept. Even if a company gives you a “low price” on the phone to get their foot in the door, they will eventually work towards getting that price up and if they don’t get the amount that they want, they will do substandard work. I am honest with my price and it WILL NOT change when I get to your home. The only way it will change is if you add additional services.
